Team Green Turned...long

I havnt been on in a week since having my LO im mostly a lurker anyways, but i figured id let everyone know i had a beautiful baby boy named Jesse Nicholas, 9lb 7.6oz, 20.5 inches long.

this was all after having contractions all day since about 5 in the morning that were 7-10 min apart so since i went shopping with SIL in mech. they started to hurt a little worse so since my doc is 45 min away from where i live and we were already at the stores wich is 5 min from my doctors i decided to call them to see what they thought, of course they sent me to the hospital, so i called my husband at work,and he headed straight over from work, sure enough the doc said im having contrax theyre not doing anything and sent me home saying that hes 98 percent sure id go into labor in the next day, if not they were inducing me friday. so sure enough i go to my mothers with my husband to eat dinner and then home so not even 4 hours after leaving the hospital at 830 my water broke, the contrax still hurt and didnt feel worse (to remind you i live  an hour and a half from the hospital my doc said earlier that day he didnt like the thought of sending me home from the hospital cuz of how far i live...so dont send me is what i was thinking) we were just waiting on my Brother in Law to come over to watch our dogs and furbabie and he lives 2 min down the road and took like an hour to get here and by that time the contrax were definatly worse. so my husband and i get going down the road and there is a car accident all but 10 miles from my house and no other way to get thru, my contractions are right on top of one another owww, they let us thru but my hubby had to go talk to the police to get thru. we got to the hospital to get checked in and found out im still only4 cm, but i was only 2 earlier, they get my iv's going and order my epi, contrax were right on top of eachother i had gone to birth classes but none of the ways of dealing were working poor hubby would just try to comfort me but i just didnt wanna be touched or anything, about an hour later i got my epi and good thing after it was in they checked me and i was already6-7 cm i got some sleep for a while but come 2-3 in the morning i was up and couldnt sleep i could still feel my legs and i was starting to feel pressure so they checked me again sure enough 9 cm and just a tiny tiny lip left on my cervix did a couple practice pushes and soon enough it was time to push i only pushed for about 45 min and my epi had started to wear off a little into it but made it easier to push and i had my beautifull baby boy my husband cut the cord oh and totally took me by surprise he actually watched everything i thought hed be grossed out...,

there was a little meconium but he was good the nenatologist was checking him out and i was still in pain, i hadnt tore but had two small cuts inside that my doc couldnt get to stop bleeding  half hour later after poking and sticking me what felt like forever the bleading stoped but from laying down pooled inside when they had me roll over to take the epi out blood went everywhere all over the floor even the poor nurses socks and shoes... my husband barley left my side he was so worried with all the bleading he knew jesse was ok and came back to me, i didnt even know what was really going on i was so light headed(im also anemic so that didnt help the bleading)but i finally got to hold my little man around 6o clock he was born at 416
