Which sippy cup for milk for 22 month old?

OK, so yes, we've let DS continue to have milk in his bottle before nap and bed. It's always been part of our routine before nap/bed, and he dropped all his other bottles on his own at a year, so until now, we haven't worried. DH works nights, and I can't logistically do 2 bottles when DS # 2 arrives, so it's now or never, LOL! He won't touch milk in a sippy, but drinks water out of several kinds of sippy cups all day.

So....what sippy cups have you had success with milk in? The plan right now is to finish off the liners we have for the bottles, when they're done, the bottles are gone and we'll only offer milk in the sippy. I'm on diapers.com right now checking out different kinds of sippys...Nuby, straw cups, etc.....

Oh, and as a side note, how long did it take to get your LO to drink milk out of a sippy if you waited this long?

    We use the Playtex sippy cups. Dd initially wouldn't have much to do with milk in a sippy. I just kept offering it with meal times. After she had actually drinken some milk from it a few times I gave her morning milk in the sippy. Sometimes I would have to pour the milk back into the bottle because she wasn't drinking enough. I would just offer the bottle a little bit later. Dd switched completely over at 13 months, so I won't be much help on the second part of your question.

    DS never really did bottles, so we just started in with sippy cups.  The playtex ones work the best with no leaking.

    Ok so I read your post and thought I was reading about my son. We are having the same problems exactly and he is 19 months today. At 12 months he came off all bottles except the nighttime bottle and morning bottle. He will drink water all day long out of a sippy cup and loves it! He will not touch milk in a cup and we have tried every cup on the market, even the ones with straws. Two weeks ago I took him off the bottle cold turkey and our pedi told us that eventually after about 1 day he would break down and take the milk out of a cup...not my stron willed child. So after 5 days of no milk at all and only producing 2 wet diapers a day...my pedi put us back on the bottle and said that his health and well being was better than getting rid of the bottle at this point. She said that he needs the vitamins and nutrients out of the milk and if he is that strong willed then we have no choice but to continue the bottle and try again when he is 2 years old. I wish you luck and please tell me if you find something that works for you!

    We use these for her Milk. Playtex Coolster Tumblers. They rock!

    We use the Nubys because they have a silicone top that really feels like a bottle, it has helped ween DS thus far... hopefully we can get rid of the nap and night time bottle here soon!
