I love my LO and I've loved being pregnant for the most part, but lately, I'm just OVER it! I'm so uncomfortable and I cannot believe I still have anywhere from 4-6 weeks left. My tummy is so big that I feel like I can feel my skin and stomach muscles tearing. It is actually painful! My back hurts so bad and my feet and ankles sometimes swell all the way up to my knees. I'm just ready to feel like myself again and to feel like my body is my own. Sorry for the whining but I just had to say it. And props to those mamas who are further along and bigger than me.

Re: Hate to say it, but I'm over it
I agree. And kinda feel bad for it.
I don't know how women in 3rd world countries do it! I couldn't be in a rice field and work 12-14 hours a day. I couldn't haul water from point A to point B. AHHH! This makes me feel weak and very very lame.
Ella is finally here!

I feel like I have been, and will be pregnant forever. And I'm over it too. I feel guilty that I can't cherish this more but I'm oh so very uncomfortable. And tired. And ready to have my body back.
Please don't let him be overdue!

Although the first trimester morning sickness seemed terrible I definetely am more miserable in the third trimester! Between the aches, pains, sleepless nights, heartburn, swelling, the heat .. Wowza, I can't wait to reach the end!
It's tough work growing a baby!
This.
Only like 1-4 more weeks for me! My doctor will not let me go to far past me due date. Thank GOD. I want my feet to fit in my cute shoes again. I am soooo tired of flip flops every day. I am tired of only getting sleep in 1-2 hour intervals due to going to the bathroom (feeding a baby or changing a baby will be a lot more rewarding and worth it imo), and I could go on for days. Carpel tunnel, my bp getting high, waddling like a penguin but looking more like an elephant....
OMG I COMPLETELY AGREE. I have not enjoyed being pg, and have had a really easy pg. I look down at my feet and think how exciting it will be to see my ankles again (I haven't seen my left ankle in months!), or to reach things-BEFORE my belly bumps the counter!
On the bright side I know I only get to eat my goodies for another 3-4 weeks, then it's back to rationing out cookies, brownies, chocolates, ice cream treats, candy, cake, etc! I was good about not eating these very often before pregnancy & was really good my first 2 tri's, but this last tri it's a free for all - IF I want a cookie I'm gonna eat a cookie!
