Is there a 4 month growth spurt?

My baby started sleeping through the night (7PM-5AM) 2 weeks ago. Monday night he was up at 11:45PM for a feeding and then he was up every 3 hours. Last night was misery. He was up at 12, 2 and 4.

Is there a 4 month growth spurt??

I know that there is the 4 month wakeful period but it could be a growth spurt as well, because DD was up 3 times last night as well!!!

What is the 4 month wakeful period? I've never heard of that!

for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, your DC might wake up frequently at night, refuse to nap during the day, fight sleep, or do a combination of all three.

It's a developmental thing. It sucks, but it eventually (supposedly) passes.
