My kids go to Riddle Pediatrics. Their office is at Riddle Hospital. During the day there is always someone available to talk to with any questions or concerns and I love how quickly they can get us in for sick visits. All three doctors are very supportive and extremely helpful.
We go to Dr. Lee at Kid's First. He is the only man in the practice. It is in the bldg with the Health Plex, so you have to pay to park which can be a pain but other than that we have been pleased with it. It's a convenient location for us and we have always been able to get someone on the phone when we had a problem.
Wow! Thank you all so much for your suggestions. This next question might sound kind of stupid, but what is the next step, calling and setting up interviews/appts? My OBGYN said that normally I wouldn't be able to even make an appt until after the baby was born, but that he or she would be taken care of by the pediatric staff in the mean time at Lankenau (where I am delivering). Does that sound right? Or am I way behind the 8 ball on this...
We made appts for interviews before DD was born. I found it very helpful. Then we were able to say who our Pedi was on the hospital forms and Dr. DiMaggio came and did the first evaluation. (They are on staff at Riddle, where DD was born.)
We did interviews before the baby was born, and we knew who we wanted to see. But, yes, you call and make the first appt after your baby is born. My practice didn't do rounds at Lankenau, but it didn't matter. We actually had the same pedi all 4 days I was in the hospital, I didn't really make a difference to me who saw him when he was in there.
They are both still there, with two other docs. The only small thing I don't like there is that one of the receptionists totally does not acknowledge your presence. Makes me crazy.

We belong to the Delco Mommies.
We love Pediatric Associates (located by Bed,Bath, and Beyond in Springfield).
Some also recommend Kids First.

They are 4 female doctors and all great. I love that they have evening hours. Great for working Moms.

I went to them as a child and I'm 35, but it was on Providence Rd and it was Dr Gibbons and Dr DiMaggio. Still the same phone #.

Also, check out Birthmark located right in Media, for different support groups... new mom, breastfeeding, etc.
And we are using the KidStop program in Newtown Square for daycare. Their website isn't impressive, but they are great. :-)
