Mirena users - come in pls

So, since I got this thing put in, I have experience spotting, pretty much daily, random crotch pain, occasional cramps and now I have a massive zit on my cheek (I don't usually break out, so this is strange)    My husband also suggests that I've been moody, although I don't really agree.  Are these mirena side effects?

    Yup- I have EVERY SINGLE ONE of those symptoms- including the I don't always agree moodiness ;)

    However, I can tell you that I have had it for a year and 1/2 now and I have no spotting and no periods at all anymore (spotting went away at 1 year mark).  The pimples are less frequent- but still not great and the cramps are maybe once every two months for only a day- and it is more like ovulation cramping- not PMS cramps.  The moodiness is ongoing and I think, actually, getting worse.  I have thought about getting it removed MANY times, but honestly, I am being lazy and love the convenience of no period and not having to remember a pill.  Unless I go fully insane- I will probably stick it out at least another year.  GL!

    I had mine put in 6 weeks PP with my DD and had for a year and then had it removed.  I couldn't take all those symptoms and my skin which is usually really nice was HORRIBLE, I mean I had painful acne from the hormones.  Since having it removed and using condoms instead I am back to normal.  I hated it and my DH said he could feel the strings.  The symptoms are real, trust me!!!  I hated that I never got rid of my period, there is not one positive thing I could say about it other than I didn't get pregnant so in that way it worked.  GL!
