My own kind of WTF appt

I had my appointment yesterday with the MFM and we found out that I do not have Lupus. We also found out that pre-e was what caused the demise. It presented itself differently than with most, but still had the devastating results. There is a 20-50% chance of a recurrence. Not sure where we will go from here. Lots to think about. Wanted to let you girls know. Thank you for all the continued support. Love ya!

I'm sorry hon.... I'm glad, though, you at least have some idea of what happened, and hopefully that means you could do something proactive next time? Either way, I hope you guys are able to have some good conversations and find some peace about what next steps to take. You're never far from my thoughts! (((HUGS)))

Well, it is always good to be armed with information. I'm glad you don't have Lupus. As for the pre-e....well, that just sucks. Since it presented differently with you, I'm hoping the docs will now know what to look for when./if you decide to move forward so you can hopefully avoid another devastating loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you, hon...with whatever you decide to do going forward!
