Comcast can suck it

Our monthly bill is $177!! WTF? We have HBO and internet, but I thought we were paying like $125. DH has been taking care of the bill so I had no idea!

It want to just cancel it all....but there isn't another cable option for our building yet. And True Blood starts next week.

    Cable companies are the worst. We only have 1 option in new orleans, and they are a total rip off.

    Thats about what our bill is too but we have Atlantic Broadband.  I would so cancel HBO since we don't watch it, but like you said True Blood is about to start.

    Our internet service and cable is separate, but it's about that much when combined together. It sucks! But yay for True Blood starting soon:)

    Well, I guess it makes me feel better than we aren't getting completely screwed over. We'll probably cancel after TB is over, though. Maybe appeal to Verizon to put Fios in our building in the meantime.

    I have two options, Comcast or CenturyLink (aka Sprint) for internet and Comcast or satellite for TV.  I think every city should have more competition available cause paying that much each month for TV and still having to watch commercials is bogus. 

    Did you know that when cable first came out, the reason you paid for TV was so it would be commercial free?  Now I swear there are more commercials on cable channels than the regular networks.
