Tomorrow I go back to work. I really don't want to go back period, and especially not to this place. (I swore I was going to seriously look for a new job during mat leave but I didn't). Bee is still not really taking a bottle, I have to leave her for 13 hours, and I am anxious about this babysitter. Please tell me I can do this!
Re: Back to work :(
Blayne!! I'm so sorry you have to go back!!! You can definitely do this - I'm sure of it!!! Just remember you love your little girl and you need to do what you've got to do to provide for her. She's going to be ok and you're going to be ok! I'll be thinking about you and praying for you both - when does your shift start?
And just to throw it out there, my girlfriend who's a nurse was still nursing her son when she went back to work and she used to have the sitter bring him up right in the middle of her shift just to nurse - it did wonders for both of their emotional hunger. Do you think something like this might be possible for baby B? Maybe even for just a short period while you both transition?

How far is the ride? I think it would help you a bit to do that Blayne... it'll give you both a well deserved break from being away from eachother and your job has to give you the time to nurse (I think... in NY it does, anyway). 13 hours is a LONG time to be away from your B.... I will make sure I'm praying for you as soon as I wake up tomorrow!
EDIT: HERE's the link for BFing laws - Does your hospital support nursing mothers? If so, you should be granted some nursing time.

You can do it Blayne! I'm sorry it came so soon. I hope tomorrow goes by quickly and maybe you can get the babysitter to drive her over. HUGS! I will be thinking about you tomorrow.
You can do this, Blayne!
Is it that she won't take the bottle from you? Hayden refuses to take a bottle from me because she knows I have the real deal, but she takes it from DH or my mom. Just a thought...
Stay strong for Bee!
