NPR: Anniversary gift

My third anniversary is in three weeks. I've been getting him the traditional gifts - this year it's leather. I need some ideas. He doesn't need a belt or shoes. Maybe a picture frame. I've thought of a leather-bound baby book, but I kind of want to give him a gift for just him about him.

Any ideas ladies? Thanks!

Is he in to sports? If so you could do a leather base ball glove, football, or something else sports related and have his name or initial embossed into the leather.

If sports are not his thing, I got my husband a beautiful leather wallet for Christmas a few years back and had his monogram embossed into it. He loved it and was so sad when it finally wore out (he is one of those guys that has a super thick wallet so they tear up easily but this one lasted a few years which was impressive).

I got it at a local high end men's store.

I know that Etsy has some leather items/ sellers so you may could search there.

Ooh, I'm glad you asked this question. We're celebrating our 3rd anniversary in Sept. right before the baby is born. I need to get ideas now so I don't have to think about it last minute. We always do both a traditional and modern gift based on the year. The modern gift for the 3rd year is crystal/glass. Any idea for those?

Thanks for the ideas. The only sport he's into is golf. Not sure what leather items there are for that sport. The wallet is a good idea - except for he just got a new one in December. Ugh... he's so hard to shop for!

My dad is a golfer-I recently got him new leather golf gloves...or a leather golf bag (depends on your budget. Good luck, hope that helps!
