Re: ??? Weekly Check-in ???
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? 6 weeks today.
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? A little sad and frustrated with breastfeeding, and tired from the drugs, but otherwise OK. Milestone wise, the boys are super active during play time (they loooove batting at toys!) and are really into smiling and cooing at people.
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? This Friday - our 6 week checkup. I'm a little excited because I'll get cleared for nookies. It's been a while.
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? Breastfeeding...see my last post.
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)? We got the carpets cleaned, and got the house totally clean as well (one advantage to being induced - you know exactly when they'll be born so you can get really prepared!). Oh, and a freezer full of meals - not sure if that counts.
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO? I have an ancient Snoopy doll that I literally loved to pieces (my Mom had to replace his eyes and nose more than once) - I'm happy they'll be able to play with Snoopy too!
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose? I'd prefer no TV for at least the first year - after that I'd be fine with a limited amount of educational/rhythm videos (like the Wiggles, which have great dances, etc.).
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins? (I've added all your questions from last week to my list.) I'll think of more and let you know!
Mamas: Is there anything you would do differently? More/less flexible birthplan? Letting your parents/in-laws help more/less? Not really - my birthplan was "do whatever is necessary" and that's pretty much what we did! I probably should let the ILs help a bit more, but honestly I don't like to rely on them to watch the boys for long periods of time - MIL tends to assume that any time the boys cry they're hungry so she overfeeds them.
BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers, link to your chart!
Can I be a total AW and post a few? I did a little 6 week photoshoot with the boys today.
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? 33 weeks, 4 days
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? Feeling pretty good! My most recent milestone: bought a fake ring at Kohls for $8 since my real rings are starting to get difficult to get off. Still haven't gotten up the nerve to switch over yet. But it was kind of fun shopping with DH and seeing all the silly "fashion" rings he was showing me.
Oh yeah, and a really big non-BR milestone - today is my 3 year anniversary! Crazy how much things have changed since we got married 3 years ago!
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? Next Monday. I don't think it will be anything exciting, just the usual check-up.
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? Convincing DH it's time to start freezing food. He occasionally gets into these ruts where he's in denial about how close we are to the baby coming, and he thinks I'm rushing my task list. Thankfully he eventually gets over it.
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)? Built the crib on Friday!
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO? Hmmm, probably not, I don't have much left. And my Strawberry Shortcake blankie is probably a bit to girly for him.
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose? I will delay TV as long as possible. I'm one of those anti-technology/anti-electronics people. He's going to learn much more by interacting with people and being outdoors than he is sitting in front of the TV.
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins?
BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers, link to your chart! Okay, here we go, time for a pic! I think DH has been jealous of all the belly pictures of me, so we finally took some pictures together.
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? 19w3d
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? Feeling great and very relaxed :-). We had our anatomy scan last week and saw our baby GIRL :-). She's been kicking a lot since then and I love it! DH finally got to feel her kick a couple of days ago. We're currently on our babymoon and loving every minute of it.
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? Next OB appointment is after 4 weeks. I think the exciting stuff for us is we can now plan and decorate the nursery, register and start ordering furnitures!
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? I guess coming to terms with my weight gain :-/.
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)? Haven't done anything yet but this will be our project as soon as we get back from vacay. We'll have to get rid of our full bed and armoire in the guest bedroom to make room for the nursery.
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO? My mom has kept some of the books that I've read when I was a child. I would love to pass them on to her.
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose?
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins? (I've added all your questions from last week to my list.)
How do you and DH divide your responsibliities when it comes to taking care of the baby?
BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers, link to your chart!
I've posted this on FB. It's not really a bump pic but nap time pic of me and me bebeh :-).
Hey Nicole...inamara's line can me updated with her LO's name - Blake. And it looks like Robin (rwright5) will move up there today too!
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO?
18 weeks 2 days old (Just over 4 months)
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?
Libby is tripod sitting on her own for 15-30 seconds at a time...she LOVES to sit. She is also doing baby crunches these days and is forever lifting her head and shoulders up when she's on her back. She's also getting really good at grabbing things and bringing them to her mouth. She talks up a storm and has started squealing when she's exciting. She also giggles like crazy. And last week she started noticing the dogs and now reaches out to touch them.
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?
Her four month appt. is on June 15, but she'll be 10 days away from being 5 months old.
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?
My back went out over the weekend so I could barely lift/carry her. That sucked big time. Also, we visited MIL on Sunday and as much as I love her, I am not thrilled with how she interacts with LO. She almost antagonizes her...it's weird. J noticed too and said something to his mom about it. So maybe it will change. I hope so. Otherwise, I am pretty sure Libby will not enjoy visiting her.
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)?
About 6 weeks before she was born I went into a cleaning frenzy...scrubbing floors, reorganizing closets, etc. We have not babyproofed anything and I was just thinking yesterday that we need to do it...seems like Libby will be crawling by the end of summer.
Other than setting up her nursery (washing clothes, putting them into drawers, organizing her stuff, prepping diapers, etc.) and setting the co-sleeper up in our room we really didn't do a whole lot. We did put together a swing for the living room and install the carseat before she was born.
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO?
I refurbished a lamp that was in my room as a toddler and that's in her room now. There are a few figurines that I had as a kid depicting nursery rhymes that are on a display shelf in there and I have some CareBears from when I was kid in there too.
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose?
We're going with the AAP recommendation of no TV until at least 2 years of age and from there we'll limit any screen time to 30 minutes max each day. Once our kid(s) start school we'll limit screen time during the week (if we allow it all) and only allow 30 minutes/day on the weekends. Once in a while I am sure we'll take the kid(s) to see a movie and of course, that'll be longer than the 30 minutes.
I have not looked into TV programs/videos for children, so I cannot comment on that yet. But we will not be parking her infront of the TV and when she does get to watch it we'll watch it with her and make it interactive (if it has activities, etc. we'll do them with her or ask her questions about what she's viewed, etc.)
Since Libby's been born we've severely cut back on our own TV viewing and are contemplating canceling our cable TV. We do have a DVR and 99% of what we watch is DVRd. We fast-forward commercials and get through the 1 or 2 shows we like to watch and then turn it off. (Before, we'd have the TV on whenever we were home and just channel surf and have it on as "background" noise). Since we've drastically overhauled our own TV habits we've noticed that we don't miss it at all and actually have found more time to do other things like read, talk to each other, etc. We're testing our TV viewing over the summer and if we find we just don't need it, we're going to cancel the cable. We figure if there are any "must see" shows we can find them online or via NetFlix or something.
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins? (I've added all your questions from last week to my list.)
Mamas: Is there anything you would do differently? More/less flexible birthplan? Letting your parents/in-laws help more/less?
I would have been more chill about getting the nursery together. It's nice that we have it, but in all honesty we're not using the crib at all (except its drawers, which we use to store all of her clothing and the changer that it attached which we use for every diaper change). I hope to transition her to her crib at the end of the summer...I anticipate she may drop her overnight feeds once solids have been introduced. We shall see.

so cute!
BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers, link to your chart!my first "bump" pic! (ignore the wet hair - it was 5am!)
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? 27w3d
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? Good, other than feeling a little more tired lately, nothing extreme though. The round ligament pain (or feeling like I've rode a horse for days!) is still there, it did let up but I've noticed it again in the last couple days. Ouch, it's not super painful but noticeably there.
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? I had a regular check-up yesterday and all is well. BP/HB is all good. We are going for our 3D ultrasound on Saturday, can't wait to see our little guy again!
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? The round ligament pain? I notice it the most after I have sat at my desk for a while or when I get up out of bed.
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)? I anticipate that I will be cleaning up a storm as I have felt the nesting instincts already
We cleared the queen bed/dresser out of our guest room already and the crib/change table is all set up. Now it's organizing the closet and buying a few more things, oh and hanging up the etsy prints I bought. Fun!
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO? I found several books a couple weeks ago as well as two handmade quilts that were given to me when I was a newborn.
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose? I know MH did not watch a lot of TV when he was younger so we'll have to discuss this, it's a great question. Some DVD's should be fine, my (4 m/o) nephew has huge interest in a Baby Einstein one.
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins? (I've added all your questions from last week to my list.)I love Hawaii!
Tara & Ian . 4/24/2008 . The Kahala Planning . Married
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? he is 3.5ish months
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? Jack is no longer swaddled for sleeping. He is a rolling machine but can only get from his tummy to his back 50% of the time. I'm not sure how most kids roll tummy to back but he makes it pretty difficult on himself - he put his knees under him then kicks up (almost to a downward dog yoga pose) before swinging his butt over. No wonder he can only accomplish this feat 50% of the time.
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? nothing really. the biggest challenge was building 2 ikea wardrobes - we had to wait until Jack went down for the night so we ended up staying up until 2am.
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)? we need to get working on the babyproofing. We keep our house pretty clean in general and we don't have carpet so there wasn't any huge task (like getting rugs cleaned) to do before the baby came home.
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO? He loves all my old books, I used a couple of my "vintage" toys as decor in his room and I turned DH's baby quilt into nursery wall hangings. He also wears one of DH's baby hats sometimes.
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose? I planned to wait until age 2 for any TV.
I didn't watch tv around him at all when I was home with him. I know MIL does but I have let it go - she is here for a limited amount of time and if it helps her get through the day and be the best care provider she can be then fine. I know she turns on sesame street while he plays on his play mat and she does laundry or dishes. She says he isn't interested (good boy!!). I wish she would interact with him instead, but it's not something I want to argue about since she is only caring for him for 3 weeks.
I did put my foot down about the "my baby can read" series that she wanted to start playing for him.
TV just isn't a big part of my life whereas DH loves TV and was allowed to watch pretty much anything his whole life. I foresee some serious discussions about this in the future - but for now he is on board with no TV and even had the talk with his mom about our preferences re: TV - he DVRs his programs and watches them when Jack is sleeping but I know that he watch sports with Jack on the weekends. oh well.
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins? (I've added all your questions from last week to my list.)
Mamas: Is there anything you would do differently? More/less flexible birthplan? Letting your parents/in-laws help more/less? not really - I would have stood up for myself a little when the hospital requested we stay a second night. That still irks me since there was no good reason for it. Next time I will be calling my own ped (or her partners) immediately.
My ILs are out of state and we have never been all that close, but having a baby has brought us closer and the fact that MIL can fly out and help is awesome - never thought it would be so great to have her temporarily living with us.
oh but I am happy that I kept L&D completely between DH and I - no one even came to the hospital before the birth except my mom (and I never even ended up seeing her b/c labor wasn't stalled like the dumb nurse thought).

Aww
Looking good
You definitely haven't popped yet! I don't think anyone can tell that you're pg! I also dreaded telling my work--same thing as you, I'm the only girl on my team and I was just hired 2 months before I got pg *and* I was on disability for a month early in my pg and was planning on taking the full 4 months Cali-govt-paid maternity leave, so I was afraid that they'd think "omg, we should've just hired a guy". On a side note, they worked me pretty hard near the end of my pg (right before I went on leave) *and* my cto told me to take my laptop home in case they needed me to check on anything =/
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? I am 38W4D today
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? Just playing the waiting game at this point. Feeling a little more pressure in the pelvis area which I think is a good sign?!?!
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? Dr's appointment on Thursday, hopefully to find that there has been some progress and baby Mason may be ready to make his appearance? Cross your fingers
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? I feel like at this point I should be relaxing but I am feeling overwhelmed with cleaning, nesting, cooking, and working. MH is a huge help, but I can't seem to just sit still. By the end of the day- my feet hurt sooo bad!!
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)? f
(6) Do you have any avorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO? I have a couple of stuffed toys and some books.
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose? No TV for probably the first year, then only educational dvds...
I've decided I need to tell my boss at *least* 3-4 months ahead of time, since i'll be out for over 5 months - we'll need to find a replacement for me. the other thing is i was hoping to get promoted this next cycle, which is september/october - right before i go on leave. not sure how that will play into the promotion decision - hopefully not at all, but you just never know. if i don't promoted this time, i'm not getting promoted for at least 1-1.5 years, given how long i'll be out. sigh. but there's no way i could wait until after the promotion cycle - i will be too big and it will be way too late!
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO?
she's about 6 1/2 months or so
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?
feeling great now that she is sleeping well again! we had about 1.5 weeks of waking every 2-3 hours and i was exhausted!
she had her 6 month visit last weekend and she is 10th percentile for weight and 50th for height. she was formerly 25th for weight and 75th for height so hopefully she is just tapering off normally like many BF babies do and my supply isn't diminishing or anything like that. plus we hope w/the introduction of solids she'll get some extra calories. we've done rice cereal but this week we're starting other solids. i bought an acorn squash at the store and cooked it up and plan to feed it to her tonight!
fun times!
big news - she's now crawling!!! she isn't commando crawling or anything like that yet, but she is pulling her knees under herself and crawling along slowly. so exciting! this also means that i can never leave her, even for just a second, anywhere now!!
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?
she had her 6 month check up last weekend so her next appt isn't until 9 months
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?
dealing w/the sleep exhaustion again. once you get past it you start to get back to "normal" a bit...her growth spurts usually only last about 2 days so they usually don't phase me too much, but this last stint of wakefulness lasted almost 2 wks!
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)?
we are babyproofing as we go along pretty much LOL. we'll cover the outlets now and we'll need to get baby gates for the top and bottom of the stairs now that she is mobile but otherwise since she will always be supervised if she gets into something then we'll babyproof it. i've heard not all kids get into things like the cabinets so i'll see if she does or not before buying all those gadgets.
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO?
i have a TON of stuffed animals at my parents' house that i kept for our LO but for now they will stay there. they are too bulky to ship and we don't have the room for them here anyway. i also have a lot of books, not from when i was a kid, but from when i took children's literature in college
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose?
we are going with the AAP recommendations to wait until she is 2 years old for TV. i'd like for most of her TV watching early on to be educational
that said, we still watch TV around her, we just face her away from the TV while we are watching it...usually we put her next to us with some toys w/her back to the TV
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins? (I've added all your questions from last week to my list.)
Mamas: Is there anything you would do differently? More/less flexible birthplan? Letting your parents/in-laws help more/less?
i wish i had let people help me more early on. i think it's just a natural mama instinct but i felt like i had to do everything for her myself, like others couldn't do it as well as me or something. i wouldn't have felt bad about waking up my mom (who was here to help) to put her back to sleep after i nursed in the middle of the night too.
BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers, link to your chart!
since she is teething now I made her a momsicle with frozen BM
I wasn't sure if she would like it because she very much prefers her bottle milk to be warm as opposed to room temp but she loved it!! It was soooo fun to watch her enjoy her momsicle
here's a video too!

My Food Blog - Good Eats 'n Sweet Treats
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO?
I've lost track of the weeks. I think she's 16 weeks tomorrow? 3 months, 3 weeks tomorrow?
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?
She's loving grabbing at toys on her play mat and she's started "talking" a lot more than before. She's also squealing a lot. I'm still waiting for full on laughs - so far her laugh is like a cough.
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?
Her 4 month well check is in a couple weeks.
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?
Still sleep! Ugh. I give up.
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)?
We didn't do much. Just got her room ready. Haven't done any babyproofing yet. Guess we need to get on that. We figure we have some time before she's mobile.
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO?
I have this stuffed cat that I got when I was born. It's pretty much the only thing I have.
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose?
I'm in the minority here, but I don't plan to be super strict about tv. Not to say that I'll just plop her in front of the tv all day, but I grew up watching a lot of tv and I turned out fine. (Skipped 2nd grade, always an honor student, graduated from HS at 16, graduated from college at 20.)
That being said, my mom also made a huge effort with me when it came to learning. For example, I started reading at 2 because she made flashcards and taught me, and in 6th grade she made me take pre-algebra on Saturdays at the community college. No lie. I plan to do similar stuff with Kaya.
Also, I like to just have the tv on for noise. Half the time I'm not really paying attention to it. I just don't like it too quiet because then I hear every little noise outside and get a little freaked out (if I'm home alone anyways).
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins? (I've added all your questions from last week to my list.)
Mamas: Is there anything you would do differently? More/less flexible birthplan? Letting your parents/in-laws help more/less?
I wish I had asked them to wait a little longer before cutting me. I kinda wish I had them turn of my epidural so I could walk around and try to get her to move. I still haven't really made peace with the fact that I had to have a c-section and that I'll have to have another if I have another baby. (Docs here won't VBAC.)
OMG! TOO CUTE! I loved the video too and the momsicle idea! I think I'm gonna steal your momsicle idea when our LO starts teething
Yeah, I got unlucky with the nausea =P I also made the mistake of eating shrimp and lobster the night I went into labor because I felt SO sick the whole time (although I think it helped me last longer through the contraction pains than I would've since I hated nausea more than pain).
The pg better not play (negatively) into the promotion decision or it'll be so wrong! GL on that--hope you get it!
(1) What week are you in/how old is your LO? She is 1
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? Nothing new. Took her to the doctor a few weeks ago and she weighed 26.2 lbs and measured 30 inches long. She can say a few words now (although you'd need to hang around her for awhile to understand them)-- namely balloon (boooon), fish (fsssh), light, down, woof woof (dog), nose (and she can point to where her nose is), milk (this one sounds NOTHING like milk; no idea where she invented that word up), mama
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? I think August for 15 month check up
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week? Accepting the fact that my baby is not the great sleeper she once was! However, she put herself to sleep last night (in our bed). I was so excited!
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)? Nothing except buy the big stuff like crib and whatnot. We haven't completely baby-proofed our house, but we need to since she's been walking for almost 2 months and opens cupboard doors and whatnot
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that y ou'll be passing onto your LO? Not at all. I didn't know people kept their stuff that long! I do have a baby blanket that my grandma made me when I was in college (mines was fraying and I was kind of sad)... maybe I'll give her that one.
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose? I'm with Christine on this one. We're not strict AT ALL with TV watching. She loves commercials (specific ones too), Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny. She will only sit to watch them for about 2 minutes at a time though.
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins? (I've added all your questions from last week to my list.)
Mamas: Is there anything you would do differently? More/less flexible birthplan? Letting your parents/in-laws help more/less? Not sure
TTCers: Which cycle are you on? Where in the cycle are you? What, if anything, are you doing/trying for TTC success?

Glad I'm not the only one! Although, Brady thinks we shouldn't let her watch much tv. We'll see.
1) What week are you in/how old is your Lo? I can't believe it my little one will be 1 next week. That went way too fast
(2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? She's walking around like crazy, says mama, dada, papa, ama (grandma) no(and shakes her head) purple, wawa, mik(milk), oval, red, la u (love you) and other random stuff.
(3) Next appointment date? Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?We have her 1 year check up in 2 weeks.
(4) What's been your greatest BR challenge this past week?Jaylee had her first fever (102 degree) all weekend and since it was a long weekend it was hard for us. It turned out that she is cutting her 2 top side teeth and I've been told that those hurt the most. Also she has regrressed with her sleeping patterns
(5) What are you doing/did you do to prepare your house for a newborn (cleaning, babyproofing, etc.)? cleaned up a bit, bought the crb and must have stuff, we just started babyproofing round 2.
(6) Do you have any favorite childhood toys/items that you'll be passing onto your LO? I have this cute little hello kitty that i've had since i was little that jaylee carries around everywhere.
(7) Do you have a TV philosophy? When (if at all) did/do you plan to introduce your baby to television/videos? What types of videos do/will you use and for what purpose? We really didn't have one, you would think that since I'm a teacher i'd be super strict about it but no. We do watch educational videos which is where she learned to say purple and oval from. She knows most of her colors now, it's pretty cool
(8) What questions would you like to see in upcoming check-ins? (I've added all your questions from last week to my list.)
Mamas: Is there anything you would do differently? More/less flexible birthplan? Letting your parents/in-laws help more/less? I think I would have stayed out on maternity leave longer. I took the 7 weeks we get offered but wished I had taken the additional sick days off.
