Contractions different than I thought they'd be

My stomach has been rock hard for at least 20 mins now, probably more like 30. I thought BH contractions were supposed to be just a few minutes long. I had a different night for like an hour or two straight with no softening at all. I'm not in pain, but very uncomfortable and it's difficult to move around when your abdomen is so hard and solid! Anyone else experience these kind of contractions ever?

I did with DS #2 and I would just take a nice warm bath, and then get DH to massage my shoulders. Try what you can to relax and they should go away.

Happens to me a lot. It's rather uncomfortable.

Sometimes they can last an hour...I don't always notice them, and I seem to notice more after a big meal when i'm maxed out on space in the first place!
