VENT OY!

So I have been having to go through all kinds of crap with getting in to an OB appointment. Since my insurance through my hubby didn't kick in until today I had to move my appointment from last week and the way the office works they have you see the nurse before you can see the OB for the first time. When I moved the OB appointment they didn't bother to move the nurse appointment. They called back last Tuesday to confirm the nurse appointment for last week and I told them they were supposed to have moved that to today and they didn't do it - so we did it then. They moved it to AFTER the OB appointment I had made for today. So fast forward to today - I get up early, get ready, head out and drive to the office. I check in and they have me sit and wait. They call me back and tell me I can't see my OB today (first appointment with her) because I've not seen the nurse yet and I need to come back at noon to see the nurse and can't see the doc today at all. I'll have to come back tomorrow but they don't know what time I can come in, I'll have to find out when I come back at noon. WHAT?!? YOU KNOW YOUR OWN FREAKING PROCEDURE AND YOU DIDN'T BOTHER TO GO THROUGH THE STEPS!?!? NOW YOU WANT ME TO COME BACK NOT ONLY ONE TIME TODAY BUT AGAIN TOMORROW?!?!? I'm so freaking frustrated I could just scream. *sigh* *growl* Just so annoying. I'm looking forward to finally getting in to my OB, who I went to high school with, to tell her about this stupid mix-up. OY OY OY OY OY! Thanks for letting me vent!

    If you are looking for somebody to get into last minute try Dr. Serrano.  He is wonderful and they always have time for you there without any of the rushing like at many other big practices.

    No I'm not looking to change. I love my OB but her office needed a swift kick in the butt today. The nurse did that for them when she found out the issues I had. I went to high school with my OB and she is wonderful. My problem was with stupidity and I am pretty sure I will never have to deal with that with them again. The nurse really got on their cases when she found out they had not taken care of me.
