  Fairfax Co. Public Schools, but you have to use 20 sick days as your short-term dis., then you get FMLA.  I don't know if that is standard practice, though.

  If you need to buy a policy- check Aflac, Unum or Metlife.

  my company uses UNUM, which will pay my STD. Not sure if you can buy a policy directly with them.

  AFLAC offers STD, but like most STD policies, you have to have it for at least 10 months before you deliver, so if you're already preganant, you would not be covered.
