So so sick! : ( (TMI)

All Saturday and Sunday I felt great.  We did a lot of activities, but I stayed hydrated and rested as much as possible.

Yesterday I woke up great.  I had a small breakfast at home then went to La Carreta w/ the family for breakfast (couldn't wait to eat w/ everyone). I did have toast w/ cafe con leche (small).  By the time I left, I had the worst headache!

We went straight home, and I took 2 Tylenols and laid down w/ ice pack.  I napped a bit, and later replaced the ice pack.  I had lunch @ 330pm.  But the headache continued so I laid down again.  MIL brought us Chinese food for dinner, and as I served DH, the smell got to me and made me sick!  So not fun.

Before going to bed, since I hadn't eaten, I had a small bowl of cereal w/ a slice of toast... oh boy, that didn't go down well either!  Now this AM, on my way to work, I got sick in the CAR!  Luckily I had a bag in the car, so was able to minimize getting dirty.

Anyway, the headache is back, and so is the nausea.  I did have a cold last wk, and it is still lingering.  Do you think it is associated w/ the cold, or do you think I have a viurs?

  • Jackie, I'm so sorry to hear that you're not feeling well.  It sounds terrible!  It could still be part of the first tri m/s and headaches.  For some girls, it lingers into the 2nd tri.  However, if this is new and you haven't had any vomiting with headaches, then I'd call the doc just to make sure it's not some kind of bug or food poisoning.  If you get any other symptoms, like fever or blurry vision, then go to your doc right away.

    Feel better soon!

  • So sorry to hear you have not been feeling well. I hope you feel better real soon.

  • I am so sorry you are getting sick! I would call your OB just to be safe. I've had morning sickness off and on this entire pregnancy and several times I thought I had a stomach virus, but it was just the joys of pregnancy. My dr gave me Zofran to take whenever I have a m/s episode. Definitely give them a call and I hope you feel better soon.
  • Thanks everyone.  Off to call OB.

  • Oh, no! I'm sorry to hear this. I hope your OB can offer some options for relief.
  • Nurse called a while ago, and doctor prescribed Zofran for the nausea. However, I think I have a stomach bug!  The moment I eat something, it comes back up.  When I had the heavy m/s, it was never this bad!  I feel terrible... w/ a horrible headache.  I think I may go home in a bit.  : (
