Back from Babymoon!

DH & I went on our babymoon this weekend over the long weekend.

We left Friday for Lake Tahoe (which is only 3 hours away) and after a stop for dinner and a little traffic got all checked in around 10pm. Our resort was amazing. Normally we go and stay at one of the casinos to have easy access to gambling, drinks, etc. But this time we stayed at a timeshare resort. They had everything! It reminded me of the place in Dirty Dancing!

For the most part it was fun except I had been easily dizzied the last few days before we left and the windy roads did not help. Plus I think m/s is coming back (who knew!) So we just took it easy, went for a drive around the lake, I got a massage, DH gambled a bit (and won $100!) while I watched a chick-flick by myself.

It was all-in-all a great weekend -- much needed. 

How is everyone else doing?! I tried to peek in a few times, but I'm sure I've missed somethings!

    We stayed at The Ridge Lake Tahoe. I think it's by invitation only, but we got invited because we filled out one of those 90 minute presentation things (although we never actually went). I will PM you the email and name of the reservation lady to see if they can do the same thing for you.

    Thank you! Yes - I'm from the Bay Area, so I guess you could say fairly local. It's still a long drive! Smile Will definitely follow up when I have my schedule sorted out this summer - I can't believe it's already June!
