They are a little tight, but I'm brave!

Today is my first solo Dr. apt since I have been pregnant. SO had to go out of town, and my Mom & Sister are out of town. Just ME. I hope I don't forget anything, lol, SO has had to remind me of something (even though I write it down) every time we go in.

You will be fine. The only thing I have to be reminded of time and time again is to bring my morning urine sample in to my appointment. Your doc's office may not ask you to bring those, though. You should know what to expect by this time. Don't worry

I know exactly how you feel - ever since I switched to my delivery doctor I have had to go by myself (appts are now during the day and DH can't get off work) - the first time I barely said a word, forgot everything I wanted to ask and left feeling very discouraged. The next time was much better, felt more comfortable, talked with the nurses/doctor more and remebered all my questions! GL!

DH has only gone to 3 appointments with me (2 were ultrasounds and 1 was the appointment to go over the quad screen results and for me to get my RH shot). My appointments are so routine and quick I just don't see the need for him to go even though he could.

write it down! I seriously forget everything and its really easy to naturally get caught up in the flow of the appointment and not ask questions. Don't feel weird at all pulling out a paper with questions. I do it all the time and my ob doesn't blink. Plus, if you still forget something, just call back and the nurses will be able to find out for you.
