HPT PIP and corresponding beta :) — The Bump
February 2011 Moms

HPT PIP and corresponding beta :)

I got my first beta today and the second one will be on Tuesday...so looking for a 200% rise.

But it's 300! I wanted to know what the corresponding hpt would look like so I took my 2nd Answer test this morning.

And my progesterone is 31.5 and I am thrilled. :-D

Happy Memorial Day weekend, everyone!

  • After doing some quick reading, that is awesome! I'm new to all of this and wasn't aware of the beta test... What do you use to test your levels? Sorry for the silly question!

Glad things are going well :)

Your OB has to run beta levels for you, meaning you have to get blood drawn for it. Usually at least twice because in a viable pregnancy, beta levels double every 48-72 hours. One single beta alone won't tell you much.

This is why I'll be going in again tomorrow morning and hopefully my levels will have gone up by 200% from Friday.

Oh and normally OBs won't do it unless you've had a m/c before. It's really up to them.
