I have to go back to work tomorrow...

and I am so sad. I can't believe how quickly 12 weeks went. I'm glad to get back to adult conversation, but I am so sad already. I am dreading tomorrow - especially since Evan has been back sliding with his reflux. Sometimes he starts crying and only stops when I hold him. Last night 3 different people tried to console him but he only stopped for me. I feel like I am leaving him when he needs me. I'm sure I'll cry off and on for the entire week.

It'll suck the first few days, but then you'll like it a lot when you can enjoy your meals, talk to others, etc...It's like vacation!

Every day gets easier as time passes. Best of luck to you, it will be a hard day, but it will be the hardest

  • Hey! I just wanted to say that I hope today is going easier for you than you anticipated.  :)  Today was Cooper's first day of real daycare too.  I've been back at work for 2.5 months but he's been staying with my parents and daycare is just different, so I'm right there with you this morning.
My big boy is bounding towards 4! Baby brother coming in October!
