Success after IF

? about Hemmies...(tmi - as if that is not obvious)

So I've struggled with the 'roids since second tri.  No longer painful now, but the extra skin is still there...will this ever go away?  Is there anything I can do?  They don't hurt at all now and I've since rectified (yes - pun intended) the situation causing them - but what to do about the extra skin?  I'm a bit terrified what that will look like during labor...thanks for sharing your any insight!

  • Trust me, you will be thinking of other things during labor! Plus, I hate to break this to you but you may have some more hemorrhoid issues after the birth as well. I think the roids were worse for me then the 4th degree tear. =/

Anyway, I think it just clears up. At least I do not notice anything going on down there now, it did take a while though.

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

  • For me with Ava they got worse from delivery, but then they went away a few weeks later.  This time around (c-section) they went away almost instantly after delivery (by the time I came home from the hospital).  If you're not using them already, stock up on prep h wipes for after delivery!
