We were using the newborn soothies but they always fall out and she can't get the back in on her own at night so we wanted to switch. we are BFing and bottle feeding pumped milk but she has had no nipple confusion, so I"m not really worried about that. what do you all use?
I am not BFing anymore, but we use Nuk, and we used them while I was BFing and no problems. We changed from Soothies for the same reason you mentioned (would never stay in), Nuk is much better.
If being a math nerd is wrong, I don't wanna be right!
I was given every different type in my shower and LO only liked the soothie from the hospital. I bought the wubbanubs and theyve been great for us. Plus, when she was still swaddling, i'd sometimes cheat and tuck the wubbanub under the swaddle blanket and it would stay in place. If she didn't want it, she's just stop sucking on it and if she wanted it again, she would just turn her head and there it was! it's worked great for us. The stuffed animal is attached to the soothie and to clean it, we'd just throw it in the wash.
Re: what type of pacifier do you use?
Same here. Oh I EBF too, and he has no problem.
She only likes sooties and the ones actually called Binky...I think they are playtex.
She does not like MAM.
NUKs and MAMs.
My DD would only take the MAMs when she was a baby.
