Start showing?

In the first pregnancy, when (on average) do you start showing? My mom said she started showing with me (first born) at about 4 months. I'm looking foward to the baby bump Just wondering...

I'd say I looked pregnant to strangers at around 16-17 weeks.

with my first, i started showing around 18 or 19 weeks.

With this one, I started showing as soon as I conceived, lol

With my first, somewhere between 18 and 20 weeks. It felt like it took forever, but the upside is, I never got huge and was relatively comfortable even at 39 weeks pregnant.

I just started look pregnant to strangers recently so like 16 weeks.. Fam and friends would tell like 12/13 weeks =]

It all really depends how fit you were to start with, and height.

If you are thinner/toned stomach it will take longer. If you are short the baby tends to pop out for fact of little else to go.

I'm 5 foots and was 180 pre pregnancy and now like 158-163 (depends how I am doing constipation wise ha)

I didnt think Id show so soon. It is really different for everyone. But dont worry it will happen fast. It felt liek forever when I was waiting but man did it sneak up on me!

With my first pregnancy, I started to show around 16 weeks. This time, I already have people asking if I'm pregnant...the bloat is crazy! I look 20 weeks pregnant!

I show sooner with every pregnancy. The first showed at 5 months the second at 3 months. This time I am planning on breaking out the maternity clothing at about 11 weeks because even right now I feel so bloated that my jeans are hurting.

With my first, it seemed as if I was showing at about 3 months. I'm 4'11'' and I weighed 98 lbs...so there really wasn't hiding any bloat, baby, etc...

With dd, I didn't really show until about 20 weeks. This time around, I only show in the evening! It's more of a "food" baby, though. I'm 11w4d.

Wow....there are some lucky ladies on here! Now I am mostly bloat...okay and I am not exactly the smallest person to begin with...but I'm only 6 weeks and I look 4 months! Wearing maternity capri's as we speak.

I don't think I started to show until around 5 months with my first. I did start wearing maternity pants around 10 weeks though because I was so bloated and they are so comfy

I'm terribly bloated! I'm not a little girl to begin with so I always have a belly, but now it's tight and especially after I eat. I told my DH that I feel like someone is pumping my stomach with air when I eat. It's horrible. I'm hoping that part goes away soon, I'm still wearing my normal clothes, but I'll admit I rock the bella band with certain pants!

Wow- you really did show early! {thats a compliment !!] I am a little over 7 weeks now, I hope I show that soon! I know some people probably dont like showing, but I've always thought pregnant ladies are just the cutest!

I started showing around 14 weeks, I remember watching Baby Mama and a girl saying she was 14 weeks and having a pretty big belly and saying "What!" This pregnancy I am already showing.

With my first, I did not get stranger comments until I was 7.5 months. Family noticed around 20 weeks.

Like 20-ish weeks with my first. Your uterus doesn't move up from behind your pelvic bone until 13 weeks, so before that, it's just bloat. After 13 weeks, you may start to get an actually 'baby' belly.
