Christening donation? Favors?

Hey, all! Just wondering about how much to give as a christening donation...(the reverend is leaving it up to us as to how much to give for the christening service...i have no idea!)

Also, I'm having a little party for it...anyone give out favors?

I think a lot of it depends on what you can give. We gave 50 and just had cake for the party. Have a great day-it was a really special one for us!

I was wondering that myself about the donation. I figured we probably should but nothing has been mentioned about it.

I don't think we're giving out favors.

I don't remember what it was for DD's baptism. We had a luncheon and cake afterward. We did not do favors. Our son is being baptized this coming weekend, and we are having a luncheon afterward with a few family members, but we aren't doing favors or decorating like it's a birthday party or anything like that.

We gave $150 but it is really a personal thing.

As far as favors...I didn't have any but I did have a professional photographer shoot the baptism and then I gave everyone prints in their thank you notes.
