Gas and Gas Pain

Feel like I have tried everything to relieve LO discomfort. Gas drops every feeding, tons of burping, cycling his legs, rubbing his belly... you name it. Should I call my pedi tomorrow? Any recommendations? TIA

    i had the same problem with my LO! are you formula feeding? if so i was using the enfamil premium but today i went and got enfamil for gassiness and fussiness and so far it has worked wonders! not only has she not been fussy or kicking and waving her arms, she isnt farting every 2 seconds and she ate 6 ounces instead of 3! so i really think its working!!!

    I BF also. Have you tried feeding LO at an angle? As in, when he is latched on, put a pillow on your lap so he is not horizontal but slanted. I let my LO's legs rest on my lap and the incline seems to help his gas and fussiness a TON.

    i started out BFing and my pedi made me give her vitamin drops everyday to help with the gas and to give her some more nutrients - that seemed to help!

    my pedi suggested probiotic powder (ask your pedi which brand).  i give her a dose mixed with BM twice a day, it's just a teeny tiny amount.  it seems to be helping, either that, or she's growing out of it!  (i BF.) 

    how old is your LO?  DDs gas was the worst around 3.5 weeks, she's now aobut 6.5 weeks.
