Our water smells weird

DH thinks I'm crazy but we have had a new water heater for 4 days now and our water smells different. Not bad, just weird. Our clothes and dishes smell different and when I shower it smells different. DS's hair smells different.

 

The water is being heated in a new container so it could change the smell, right? This is possible, right? Right?
