Please recommend your convertible car seat!

Jaxen weighed in at 23 pounds on his 6 month check up. His infant car seat only goes up to 22 pounds. MIL wants to buy the next car seat, I just can't decided what to get!.
DH has a z71 Chevy. I have a Nissan Sentra. I know that some convertables don't fit well in some cars.

we have a Graco MyRide 65 and love it! DS loves it too! but we have a Ford Escape, so I don't know how it will fit in a regular car.

I second the Britax Marathon! We bought it for DD#1 when she outgrew her infant seat.....and she just turned 4yrs old, and still fits beautifully in it.

I love our Britax Roundabout 50. I just saw a post below that they are on clearance at Target for $100!

totally agreed.

we've got the teeniest non-family-friendly car, and the marathon was the only one we could find that fit safely. expensive as heck, though, but worth it. Smile
