Mother and MIL presents at the shower?

Anyone give their mom or MIL a "grandma to be" present at the shower? If so, what?

Even if you didn't.....any ideas?

We gave them charm bracelets with twin storks on them. For Mother's day we gave them the boy head charms with the initials engraved. Its not cheap, but they love them

I didn't give either one anything. Ooops!

I did give my mom a nice thank you present about the time that we were winding down on all the help she was giving me when they were born. She came over every day for the first couple months! MIL- nowhere to be seen and therefore so was her present! lol

I gave these "off to Grandma's" luggage. They are pretty small but I put a few grandma books inside along with a blanket to reveal the babies' names.

I made frames (like a framed scrapbook page) for the birth announcement. They loved them!

They threw our shower so it was more of a thank you for that, but we bought cute mugs from Hallmark that said something like "Ask me about my grandkids!" and had flowers arranged in them by a florist. They were very cute!
