    DH and I are going on our first cruise this summer with my family.  We will sail out of Tampa through Cozemel and back to Tampa.  I am excited!!!

    The last few years we have tried to go somewhere new ex: aruba, cabo, toronto. This year we aren't going anywhere, with the uncertainty of what type of treatment we'll need. And if it turns out that treatment is successful early on we have TONS of fun projects to do around the house- like put in a patio!

    Every year my family has a reunion at cabins that my aunt and uncle own. That will be over the 4th of July. Our theme this year is Christmas in July- should be entertaining to say the least. I have heard several tales of Santa suits that will be making a voyage down the creek.

    No big vacation plans for this summer!  We'll probably go up north a time or two, but that's it.  We went on a Southern Caribbean cruise (week-long) in December, so we won't go on another "big" trip for awhile probably!

    It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
    Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
    1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

    Absolutely nothing - this is the first time we have never had a vacation to look forward to.  We are trying to put our $$ toward house renovations and now IF treatments so we won't be taking our annual trip this year to Hawaii.

    We are looking into a cheaper Vegas or Cabo trip for our anniversary in August so hopefully we will have something booked soon.

    Yes before buying our house we had a lot more disposable income.  Smile  Now not so much...but I feel very lucky to have gone as much as I have.

    We did our roof this past spring, but had insurance help (due to wind damage).  Road trips can be just as fun!!

    No big summer vacation plans for us. We have a beach house that we'll spend as much time at as possible. I'm teaching summer "academy" so that puts a damper on any travel. Luckily, it's only a week at a time (it's like a summer enrichment program for kids on the verge of needing summer school).

    Vegas and Cabo are great - I have been to both before.  I def. recommend going to Vegas at least once even if you don't like to gamble.  It is only an hour and twenty minute flight for us though and cheap Southwest tickets.

    cottage time!  I'm on the count down to good reading, good food, and good company.  Just bought new bathing suits!  I think I'll be spending at least 4 weeks up there.

     

    ETA:  and secretly hoping that next summer we will have a little one up there....

    We are still deciding.  Our 2 top ideas are to go to Boston and the Cape OR to go to Williamsburg and Virginia Beach.  I guess we are into a little bit of History with a little bit of beach this year - lol. 

    At this moment though it all seems expensive, so we may end up scraping either plan!!  I guess we will need to decide in a week or two and come up with something.

    We're planning to go to Aruba this July sometime. We've been stalking some different companies looking for the price drop for July. We went there almost 3 years ago for our HM, so we're really looking forward to going back.

    We just got back from Northwest MI, and we're heading to Charleston, SC for a wedding of two great friends in 3.5 weeks. Then I'm going to Florida with my mom and aunt in July and DH and I are going back to the Traverse City area for our anniversary in September.

    We're going to Kauai and Oahu in a couple weeks!!  I cannot wait.  We went to Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii before beginning TTC and figured why not go to Hawaii again since we still don't have kids.  This is our pre-IVF vacation.  Hopefully, next time we go to Hawaii we'll have kids.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.

    We actually just spent the weekend in San Antonio and had a GREAT time, but at the beginning of July we're flying up to my home state of Michigan to visit my family and spend some time up at the lake at the cabin...can't wait!!

    We just came back two weeks ago from Punta Cana. Ahhh...  I sure miss that!  Work is getting in the way of my sun & sand lifestyle!

    Next up: Chicago for July 4th (long weekend) and Captiva Island, FL for our anniversary in September.

    A friend's family has a huge beach house down near Wilmington, N.C., and we'll be spending a week out there with them and some other friends in June. I can't wait! I love the beach!

    At the end of June we're driving to Folley Beach, SC.  My MIL, FIL SIL, her husband and two kids will be sharing a four bedroom/three bath condo with me & DH.  We plan to do a day trip to Savannah.  Looking forward to it.

    We're going to Sedona in September and then I have a surprise trip to Orlando planned for DH's birthday in November.  I've kept that secret for three months....only six more to go!
