Logan's Birthday Party! Lots of PsIP

Logan's birthday party was yesterday. We were EXTREMELY lucky to have rare hot weather, so it was also a pool party! The part that surprised me the post is that he wasn't very interested in his smash cake, just the ice cream. Maybe it's because it was so hot?

I didn't shed a tear since it's not his real birthday yet. Smile I think I'll be a waterworks on Friday.

I got the outfit from AdorableStitches.com. Lacy sent me pictures of a bunch of bear appliques that she had and I picked one. She has a lot of different fabric options, she can make pretty much anything. Note - the sizes run REALLY big. I was told that jon-jons run small, so I ordered one size up - a 3 (he usually wears a 24m or a 2). It came and he was literally swimming in it, LOL. I would say it was like a 4 in most clothes, and he wears a 2. My mom had to take it in in six places! (Good thing she is a good seamstress or it wouldn't have worked out) Long story short, if you order from her, I'd size down one. I wish I had asked her for the measurements of the finished jon-jon to compare to clothes he already had.

We really, really did. It was 87. The record high for our zipcode is only 90! We would have been happy with 67 and thrilled with 77. Never dreamed the pool would be 81 degrees and we'd be able to swim! Usually we are just opening in Memorial Day weekend and you'd need a wetsuit to get in.
