Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Does your LO "stumble" when they crawl?

Mia has been crawling for about 2 months now, and several times a day while she is crawling, one foot will fly up in the air behind her and she'll face plant.  It's not always the same foot.  Just wondering if it's something I should be mentioning to the pedi at her 9 month appt on Wednesday...

  • DS does this sometimes. ?I think it is when his "timing" gets off with moving his arms and legs, then he falls on his face. ?I think its pretty funny! ?I don't think its anything to be worried about, but mention it if you want more reassurance! ?

  • Thanks for the reply.  Yeah, I've been brushing it off as a timing issue, too.  I didn't even really think about it until this morning when she seemed really upset when it happened, so I figured I'd ask.
  • Aww, she probably just got frustrated, lol! ?DS also tends to stumble when he gets excited and tries to crawl too fast.
  • That seems pretty normal. B still isn't crawling but when he true sometimes he'll face plant.
