I'm evil.

Tomorrow is my day to sleep in.  (YAY!) The deal in our house is that if you put DS to sleep in his bed, successfully, then the other parent has to soothe him back to sleep (or at least try for 20 mins) the next time he wakes up.  Well, I put him down.  And when he got up, DH immediately brought him downstairs (the movie we were watching probably would have wokenhim again...) So I got him to sleep and when the movie was over, I got him back into his crib.  Where he stayed for an hour... DH has been playing video games.  And DS just woke up... and he looked at me like *I* should be the one going upstairs... Ummmm.... NO... Just becuase your stupid video game is in the middle of a war, doesn't mean you get an out.. SORRY...

I wish I had a shirt that says this. Then I could just make a Jim Face and point at the shirt 32873472634876 times a day.

Amen sister. DH doesn't seem to understand just how annoying the theme song to Mario Galaxy is. Or the sound of horses moving around on Civilization. On the other hand, I managed to "lose" Civilization for over a year. I'm pretty proud of myself.

  • I told him that one day he would come home and the xbox would be hacked into a thousand pieces. He said that if that happens, he'll do the same to my sewing machine, embroidery machine and serger.

    We're very mature.

LOL! I've told DH the same thing but all he said was "But then we can't watch DVDs.."  or "That's ok, I'll just steal *his brothers*" or "Well I'll still have the Wii.. and the gamecube.. and the playstation.. and don't we have a regular Nintendo somewhere?"

  • DH played a lot of video game before DD and while I was pregnant, I told him to get it in now because he will not have time for it when there is a baby.

He has been pretty good, he still plays some on the laptop and sometime watches videos on you tube  about playing video game or other ppl play video game (this drives me crazy) but if he needs to do something with DD he will put it away. I'm lucky he has been pretty good about it.
