I saw my little bean for the first time today!!!!

Today was absolutely amazing!!!! I had my first ultrasound and got to see my little bean.  When I saw his/her little heart beating so fast, I started bawling.  It was absolutely amazing and took my breath away!!! There really are no words to describe it!!!  It matches the bloodwork and is measuring at 6w0d today Big Smile  It's a week behind where I thought I was, but since my cycles are so screwy, I'm going with it!!!  I attached a pic below!!! :)

    Awesome news!  Congrats!!  It is such an amazing experience. 

    This new baby of mine was measuring 2 weeks behind where I thought  I was too.  I know I had my period in Feb and not March so I must have ovulated really late... not surprising though.  It's comforting to know that it was late ovulation and not that the baby is measuring small.

    p.s. I LOVE your January Joy sig.. esp the bird.  I was so drawn to images like that when I was pregnant with my son, who is also a January baby and absolutely my joy!

    That's the problem with a screwy cycle and never knowing when you O. :(  Oh well! Worked out in my favor! lol

    I swiped the January Joy picture from someone's profile... I didn't know where they got it and I loved it!  I just wanted to put something cutesy in my siggy that expresses how happy I am :)

    Yay, congrats! I'll never forget that first ultrasound or all of the ones that followed! It is such an amazing process! :)

    Ella also measured about a week and a half behind what I had calculated. Then again, with cycles ranging from 60-70 days, who knows what was really going on! And she measured small the entire time. Turns out, she is just petite!

    There's nothing in the world quite like seeing the u/s or hearing the HB. :)  I don't think any momma will forget those moments - I still remember looking at DH and watching him let out the breath he'd been holding at our first u/s as the tech located LO and said, "there's the HB!"  Just wait - they get even more amazing as you get to see LO develop into a little person w/perfect features!

    Yay!  Congratulations!  I teared up at every check up where I heard the HB on the doppler, too.  It's a thing you just can't see or hear often enough!

    It looks like our due dates are going to be close to each other.  I think I may be 3 or 4 days behind what I have in my ticker (I have an u/s next week), but I think it's kinda neat to have someone on this board with a similiar due date.

    Ceefome, absolutely!  It will be really neat to have someone to compare notes with! :)  I'll be interested to see how close together the actual "birth"days are! :)
