If your baby was

going to be born the end of November, would you travel with it to a different state for  family Christmas knowing that it's flu season?

    Travel flying or road trip?  Either way I can't imagine not going home for Christmas.  If you get the flu shot it will transfer immunity to LO if that makes you feel better.

    I think i would be comfortable being with my family and having them know that they can't get my newborn sick.  If you have to travel by plane, then I would be reluctant.  If you are traveling by car, then I probably wouldn't worry.  Where I would actually worry is if it is a long car trip and the logistics of traveling.  Our family is 9hrs away and I am waiting to drive back home for a visit till I am more comfortable with nursing/sleeping and all the other good stuff that comes with a newborn.
