I was told you can't use bugspray or sunscreen till at least 6 months? Is this incorrect?
You aren't supposed to because babies under 6 months are not supposed to be in direct sunlight anyways.. but I called DD's pedi and she advised water babies, to test a small area first and see if there's a reaction. If there wasn't to put it on and wait 30 minutes before taking outside... I don't put DD directly in the sunlight but I feel safer knowing if she gets carried outside or something and she's in the sun that she's protected.

I asked about bug spray a few days ago and as long as the DEET content is lower than 30% you can spray it into your hands and rub it on their arms and legs. Avoid their hands so they don't ingest any of it.

ditto that. there are SO many "baby" sunscreens/blocks out there that are bad for babies.
