We went and got our crib last weekend and it is currently in a box on the enclosed back porch. I was going to wait until the beginning of August (edd Sept. 2) to put it together and move it to DDs bedroom because I felt it would be easier for DD. Now I am wondering if it makes more sense to put it together and in her room now so she gets used to the crib before she has to get used to the crib and the baby. WWYD?
We put together DD's crib (in DS' room) recently, even though she won't be in it for a while. I wanted him to get used to the idea that he would be sharing a room eventually. Now he points to it and says "baby's" all the time
I think it's a good idea to get it set up sooner rather than later. GL!

We've had the baby's new crib in the nursery for about a month, and DD has no interest in it, nor does she get it at all when I show it to her and say "that's the new baby's bed." She just looks at it for a second and then asks if she can go in it. So, in our case, it has not helped "prepare" her for baby in any way!
