At what point or after what observations did you decide to add some extra sperm-friendly lube? I'm only 2 cycles off BCP, so my body is likely still adjusting to its natural rhythm. However, I've noticed I don't have a lot of CM. I feel like I had more on BCPs, though I wasn't really consciously making note of it. I'm drinking green iced tea and trying to up my water intake in general. How do I know if I need something like pre-seed?

Re: Pre-seed/egg white users come in
Pre-seed doesn't replace EWCM inside, it's just a really good lube while TTC.
I use it because of my VVS and pain management and find it really works for me. If you feel you're a little dry during sex, it helps things out but it doesn't help sperm get to where they need to go. It just won't kill them off before they have a chance to get there.

Ah, thank you for the clarification. Sounds like I need to make sure I'm hydrated sufficiently to produce more quality CM.

I personally switched to pre seed because the lubricant we were using was particularly not sperm friendly. I feel like a moron that I didn't google that during my first cycle!
Only you know if you need a little extra lubricant. I've noticed this cycle, the second off of BC, I have quite a bit more CM than I ever had while I was taking BC. I've cut back on caffeine and have been drinking more water than I used to. I've noticed I don't need it every time, esp when I have EWCM. You can apply internally or externally, or both.

Just an FYI... From a lube standpoint, we've been using Pre (made by the same people as Preseed, sperm-safe, but for external usage instead of internal), in addition. It's great, even if you're not worried about CM because its a lot less irritating than other lubes we've used. Which is a good thing when you're having a ton of baby-making sex. Good luck!

You're the first person I've noticed who uses "Pre" too. That's what we used this cycle, and we both approve!
