AW - booked our cruise

DH and I will be going on a cruise (I hope it becomes a babymoon) in early Sept.

We're leaving from NY and going to Bermuda on NCL (we got a great deal).  It wasn't our first choice, we love Royal Caribbean, but there aren't many options leaving from NY in Sept going somewhere warm :)  Everyone is going to Canada and while I love my friends up north, we wanted to lay on a beach Paradise

It's nice to have something to look forward to.

Thanks for all the recs cuties :)

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    I'm glad you booked a vacation!  I'm a cruise virgin so I don't have any tips, but I hope you have a GREAT time!!!
    image 30 y/o with PCOS HSG normal, SA essentially normal (slightly low morph but good # and motility) 50 mg Clomid...zip; 100 mg Clomid...nada; 150 mg Clomid...zilch 1/10 Injectable cycle with Gonal-F, Ovidrel, and TI.....Beta 2/22...BFN 2/10 Injectable cycle with Gonal-F and Follistim (long story), Ovidrel..BFN 4/10 Injectable cycle (see above). BFP but early m/c 5w5d. 5/10 Break cycle due to BFC (Big Fat Cyst)...darn it all 6/10 Injectable cycle +IUI...BFN 7/10 Injectable cycle + IUI.....BFP!!! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    Yeah for booking it! I never went on a cruise but it sounds like fun. You deserve some fun!
    TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!     You're going to have such a great time! How long is the cruise? Any stops aside from Bermuda?

    Have a great time!! I haven't sailed NCL. Check out cruise critic though I am sure they will have great tips. We are going on a 10 day cruise at the end of October on Princess out of Ft. Lauderdale. I can't wait!!

    That's the same cruise we went on a year ago! You're probably going on the Norwegian Dawn. We loved it.....you have to eat at Cagney's Steakhouse one night, it's amazing!  When we were on the ship the entertainment company was the Jean Ann Ryan Co. and they were incredible, I hope they're still on there!

    I did NCL out of NY, but it was one of those cruises to nowhere.  We just sailed out past LI and looped around and came back.  It seemed like there was a lot to do, but we didn't have enough time to do it all.  Have fun!

    No, it stops in Bermuda for 3 days.

    the only other option was Bahamas from NY and I've been there 2 times and we did a RC to bahamas from Miami a couple of years ago. 

    We decided Bermuda since we both haven't been there.
