when did they start to walk? My DD1 never really crawled and she walked at 12 months. DD2 is a champion crawler and gets around pretty well that way. Does that mean she'll be a later walker?
Daniel started crawling at 8 months and then walking around the coffee table soon after and then started walking (and running) at 12month and 3 weeks. He was so excited to walk that he started to run in the same week.
DD started crawling around 7 months and was always on the go! She was a champion crawler and took her first steps at the end of April (she was 11 months) Now she runs around like its her job!
C crawled at 5.5 months- but didn't walk until about 3 weeks after his first birthday. I was surprised, he crawled FOREVER. I thought for sure he'd walk earlier.
My daughter started crawling REALLY early. 4 days before she turned 6 months old so I assumed she would walk early. She pulled up at 7 months, started cruising along furniture around 8-9 months but didn't start walking (really walking) until 13 months.
dd crawled at 5.5 months and was FAST! She could crawl up stairs by 7 months no problem. I figured she would be an early walker... she didn't walk until right at 13 months.

My older ds crawled at 8.5 months, and was walking at 11.5 months,my younger ds started crawling at 5.5 months, but didn't start really walking well until 10.5 months.
I think it can go either way. I've seen early crawlers be relatively late walkers, and also be super early walkers. DS was my better, earlier crawler, and he walked at 13.5 months. DD didn't walk until 18 months. No way to tell, really, until they do it.
DD was full on coordinated crawling by 5.5 months. She never army crawled or scooted. She pulled up and started cruising shortly after crawling but didn't start walking full time till right after her 1st birthday. She definitely mastered and loved crawling!
DD started crawling at 7 mos, took her first steps just before 10 mos, but really didn't start cruising on her feet until 1 year.
Same for us. I will say that I think DD may have really started walking much better if it were not for her ear infections. The day after we got tubes put in (the week of her birthday), she took off!
