Grrr Vent RE: Target Completion Coupon

So my Target registry says my due date is June 2, even though it is really June 23. I have still not received my 10% completion coupon. So I called Target today to check on it. They told me that I am not "opted in" to receive the coupon, based on something that was not checked when we registered. I told them that we registered in store, and would have definitely opted in, so the mistake must have been by the person who registered us.

 Then they tell me that they can opt me in, but it will take a minimum of 4 weeks to receive the coupon. Ummm...a coupon in 4 weeks is not very helpful, seeing as I need to buy this stuff now. I asked the lady if there was any way to get it faster, and she said that I should be happy just to be getting it at all, as I chose not to get one when I registered and waited until now to call.

Um, excuse me, beeyatch at Target?!?! Clearly, I did not CHOOSE not to get the coupon, and I only called today after patiently checking my mail for the last month. 

Add all this to the fact that I received several duplicates at my shower (5 play mats!!!) because of their crappy system  and then was hassled when trying to return them, I am very frustrated with Target!!!

    Try the coupon code BBYWEBTV - I don't know if they have to "activate" your registry to be able to use it, but that's the completion code I got, and I'm not gonna be using it.  GL!!!

    I second looking for a coupon code!  Could you try calling back to see if you get a different person to answer the phone (this works sometimes).

    We got two swings and needed to return one and they made it hell! I was supposed to have my coupon by the 14th of May(per the hardly English speaking man I talked to when I called the 1800 number) ...It is now the 27th! I think I will just have to go buy everything at full price.

    I'm pretty sure that was my code too-so maybe it's a generic one? Worth a try!

    thx for this post.  I'm checking with Target to see if I'll get mine in the next few days.  I told them my due date was June 1st, when it really is June 29th. ...WTH, same thing happened to me.  Now I won't get my completion coupon until July.  Target, YOU SUCK!

    I just checked on my BRU completion coupon. (Due date stated June 1st) and they didn't send me one either.  The customer rep had to put a rush on it to get it to me in about 2 wks.  Boy, these completion coupons seem to be such a challenge for these companies.

    Completely opposite thing happened to me. I received mine in the mail a week ago and I have my due date listed as July 1st. I haven't even had my shower yet. I figured after the shower I would go in and change the date but now I guess I don't have to. I thought it was really strange I received it that early!

    This just happened to me today!! I hate them and their poor customer service and crappy policies!
