  • 20% each month just like my chances are 20% each month and I'm 25

Everyone is different. It depends on your medical history and reproductive health.

There are many here who are older. There is a TTC over 35 board to. Lots of women have childeren well into their 30s without issue.

    Good luck!

  • I hope pretty good! I'm 33 too. :)

    TTC since 3/2010 3/10 - 12/10: IUIs 1-6 = BFN 3/11: IVF #1 (3DT of 2) = BFP! (Beta #1 @ 14DP3DT = 320; Beta #2 @ 16DP3DT = 745) It's a boy! Rylar Andrew born 12/5/11! So in love. :)image
  • Since I'm 33, I'm hoping chances are very good.  The only thing I've heard about age is after 35, there are more health risks.
  • I think the general concensus is if you are in good health and under 35 your chance are good.  If you have anything in your medical history that needs special attention, you may want to visit your doc and talk them over.  GL!

Seriously, what kind of question is this?  No one can tell you what your chances of conceiving are.  There's A LOT more to fertility than just age.

    Yes

For me, apparently slim to none. For you, who knows? Fertility is not a number. There's a lot more to it than that.

That is a piss poor comparison. She is not Kelly Preston (and I don't buy for a minute there were no fertility treatments involved at that age). There are women at the age of 20 who cannot conceive.

    Ditto to all of this!

This can also be very true over 35. In fact many MDs now use 40 as AMA (advanced maternal age) instead of 35.

This.  My SIL was able to get pregnant in 3 months and had a healthy pregnancy at 38.  My Mom was able to get pregnant at 37 and 47 without fertility treatments (WTF!).

On the other hand, I am 27 and having fertility issues.  Fertility really depends on each individual woman.

    Good luck OP!

  • There is no question fertility declines with age. However, as pps said, some people have trouble in their 20s and some get pg accidentally in their early 40s (rare but it happened to someone I know.) the average amount of time to conceive is longer in your early 30s vs early 20s, but obviously it is going to be highly variable on an individual level.
