Hey Ladies! You're almost there! I found these posts useful so if you have any questions I'd be glad to try and helpout! I delivered vaginally at 38 weeks 6 days, my water broke first, and I had an epidural so I don't know about c-sections! Sorry!
I went to the hospital when my water broke (I was GBS +) and they started me on pitocin right away which sucked!! They wouldn't let me try and walk to get things going or anything and I was not happy with that...the pitocin was totally not fun but it did make my labor fast! She delivered in 9 hours! So sorry, I don't know how long it would have taken my body to do it naturally!
We actually don't have a toy that helps DD sleep. We swaddle her tightly and rock her to sleep and when she's out we put her on her positioner in our bed with the fan on (it's loud for white noise). If she's being a grump though and won't stay asleep when we put her in bed then she can sleep in her swing till we go to bed. A swing is a lifesaver at our house!
