slightly freaking out...reassure me!

I think it finally hit me today....we're no where near ready for LO to arrive. We have his nursery ready...but no crib mattress, sheets, receiving blankets. I got a breast pump....but no bottles, drying rack, bottle brush. I don't think we even have diaper cream or baby body wash. I think I may have a panic attack. I feel like a slack mom not being ready. I've already gone into PTL last week....DH is going to have to finish getting everything finished and who only knows what he'll come home with! lol
anyone else feel overwhelmed and not prepared?

Take a deep breath, lots feel the same way! Luckily your baby won't know the difference. If you have a place to lay him, you have boobs and you have diapers...you will be ok. Until then, just make one big list and hit up Target and get it all knocked out at once. Call a friend to go shop with you. And don't forget to print off your $3 huggies coupons before you go so you can buy everything you need

You have time. I freaked out around this time too with my first. I ran to target and got my 'emergancy pack'. Bottles, formula (in case..good thing!!), diapers, cream, wipes, onesies, a few outfits, mittens, socks, recieving blankets, and pacifiers. I slept a lot better knowing that those things were in the house.
I say make a list and hit BRU or Target. Trust me. You'll feel better! GL
