Gift for daycare?

We are leaving our daycare in a month and would like to get her something.  We've appreciated everything she has done for us and the care she has provided. 

Any ideas for a thoughtful thank you gift?

    I'm a teacher and we're giving our babysitter/daycare an end-of-year gift (even though we'll be back in fall).  Last year we gave her a gift certificate to a spa, this year we're giving her a gift certificate to a local greenhouse (she loves to garden / plant).

    Does she own it?  If so, maybe you could replace something that you noticed is at the end of it's rope or give her some new things for the kids to do.  If that kind of stuff usually comes out of her pocket, she might appreciate it more than the stuff I would normally suggest.
