Pediatrician Questions

Hi guys, I know there is a list here somewhere but I cannot find it... Anyone have the list of questions you should ask the doctor when interviewing for your pediatrician? Or just send along questions you found helpful....

    Is there a fee for after hours calls (some are free, others charge) ?

    Would you talk to a nurse or dr after hours?

    Is there a sick/well waiting area?

    Are they flexible with immunizations (if that matters)?

    Will your phone messages be returned the same day?

    Where did you graduate from?

    How long have you been in practice?

    Do you accept walk-in's?

    Also, make sure to check office hours because w/ our first pedi, she had really bad hours....9am-1pm (she was at the hospital during the afternoons to care for newborns).  We had to wait forever to see her whenever we do walk-in's and everytime we're there, the waiting room is packed!
