Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

This always happens

DD has been on a weird sleep thing this week, and has been taking crappy naps. Yesterday I WORE her out and prayed for a good nap. I laid down, and before I knew it, she was up.

Today, 2.5 hours and did I lay down? No. Back to her normal self though, I pray!

  • I don't know how you feel right now but give it a couple more weeks and you're gonna be one exhausted momma! I've been taking naps on the weekends and in bed at 7 on weeknights and that's still not enough for me. This time around really has me worn out!! I won't even get started on the morning (all day) sickness. Get some rest!

  • I feel you.  The days my dd NEEDS a nap, she sleeps for like 10 minutes.  Fun stuff.

I know. I am totally waiting til 6/7 weeks when it all hits me. This was my grace period with Olivia also. I have been a little tired, either taking a nap or going to bed early each day.

PRAYING for no sickness....none with O, though I felt crappy all around. were you sick with C?

I did not have 1 day of sickness with him. Lucky! I have been terribly and I mean TERRIBLY nauseated this time. It started at exactly 7 weeks it's horrible, especially since work doesn't know and I've got a stash of sprite and crackers built up on my desk. I don't actually throw up, just nauseated which I think is worse. I had to start taking Zofran b/c it was so bad and I could barely make it through the day and that helped a ton but has caused some *ahem* other issues so I stopped taking it. Luckily, I have felt so much better this past week and can actually get stuff done. Knock on wood it stays that way. I really hope you don't get sick, especially since you're with O everyday. It's so hard doing stuff when you feel so crummy! Praying you don't!

  • Congrats Reese!  I hope m/s doesnt happen for you.  I had it horrid w/ds but just in the morning now.  If I get toast in me right away, I manage.  I also quit taking the horse pills(prenatal)and just take folic acid.  That has made a world of difference.

As for sleep, S has been all over the place too.  I wonder if it is their age??  10p bedtime last night, but slept til 7a.  Im hoping for a 2hr nap today, then we are headed to the backyard for pooltime:)

  • WAIT!  How did I miss your big announcement??????  Dude.  You didn't wait for me.  LOL  Kidding of course----- congrats girl!!!

I so know what you mean about the nap thing---DS does the same thing.  I hate that.
