Horrible mean momma moment

I feel horrible as I can't pick up dd anymore (mw said no more do to some complications with pregnancy).   She won't ride in a shopping cart and will dive bomb out of it if I force her too.  Yesterday at the grocery store, she absolutely lost it and kept screaming "up".   Everyone in the store was looking at me like I was crazy as my dd rolled around on the tile floor refusing to walk.   She had the biggest tantrum ever.  Even the manager offered to get her a snack or lift her in a cart.  The worst part was that some woman on her cell phone told the person she was talking to something about "this poor baby, she just wants her momma to pick her up and she won't.".   25 minutes of cuddling on the floor later, we managed to buy our soy milk and leave.

 I think we might be home bound til baby gets here.

    OMG--how rude of cell phone lady--she couldn't see that you were 37 wks pregnant???  Obviously she has no children.  Any mother would totally understand that.  You aren't a mean mommy--at all.  My DS does that and it drives me insane---I try not to give in, but sometimes have to.  I can't even imagine what you are dealing with.

    That is terrible.  I can't believe how uncompassionate some people are.  You are obviously very pregnant which I am sure makes things more difficult and I can't imagine being in your situation.   I was extremely emotional at the end of my pregnancy so I am sure I would have just sat down on the floor and cried with her.  Good luck and I hope things get easier for you and LO.

    Thank you ladies.   I am just hot and exhausted at this point and kept telling myself "I will not cry". ha.

    Awww poor mama and poor babySad.  You are not a mean mama at all, you've got to take care of the ittie bittie too.  I can't believe someone would make a snotty comment when you are so obviously pregnant, hello.

    Oh man, I would've gone up to the biitch and asked her if she cared so much maybe she should help a pregnant lady out.
