  Well, I'll be 36 weeks at my next appt., and I'll have the GBS test done, so I'm assuming they will do one then?

  Some docs start at 35/36 weeks.  Mine doesn't do any.

  Every OB is different.. Mine told me she isn't doing internals till I hit 40 weeks.. she said there is no point.

  depends on the doctor.  Mine started at 36 weeks.

  mine start at 38 weeks, unless there is a reason or request to do it sooner. ( I had one at 32 weeks after I lost my plug at 30 weeks)

  every doc is different.  mine starts at 38 wks.  she'll also strip my membranes then if i have progress.  did it last time and i'm looking forward to it this time!

  My doc does the first internal and gbs test at 36 weeks. She doesn't do internals after that unless I'm showing signs of labor etc.

  But it seems most docs start between 35w & 37w.

  I have heard as early as 34-36 weeks, but mine hasn't done any yet.

  with ds - 36 weeks and every week after

  this time - 36 weeks (only because i needed the gbs test), then not again until 38, now every week.

  I had my GBS test done yesterday and no internal.  Mine won't do them until around 39 weeks or you are having labor symptoms.
