Aside from the emotional part, my D&E was much easier than I anticipated. I've had literally no pain in Ladytown. For that I'm very grateful.
But, I've been hit with terrible soreness in my upper body. Yesterday I could barely move. Today is a little bit better after I started taking the big Ibuprofen pills that I was sent home with. I found an explanation on the internet-- postoperative myalgia. The article says it occurs more often in fit patients and in young women. I did not have this reaction after my previous two egg retrieval procedures, so this was a big surprise.
Anyone else have this pain?

I just had my d&E today and do not have any upper body pain. I hope you feel better soon.
