S/O S&TC Movie

One of my students told me she was going to see S&TC with her mom.

Indifferent 

The girl is 17 and has the type of mother that would rather have the kids drink at her house.... think Amy Pohler in Mean Girls.

    I'm 29 and I still wouldn't go see SATC with my mom.  In fact, she asked me to when the last one came out and I told her that that was one show/movie we would never enjoy together.  Ever.

    Same here. 

    My mom and I had never seen True Blood and new nothing about it. Well, um, yeah... that was awkward.

    I can talk to my mother about sex or anything, but I choose not to.

    I thought Sex and the City was pretty tame, as movies go, with the exception of some Samantha scenes.  But, if you can't go to see S&TC with your mom, there's pretty much no movie you could see.  Everything not kid movie has some gratuitious sex scene.

    It's the Samantha scenes that would kill me in front of my mom.  She is quite the uptight Southern matriarch.
