Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

toddler shoes

DD has always worn Robeez.  She is now just taken a few steps so i am thinking i need to get her a different kind of shoe.  Whats a good transition shoe from Robeez that stay on well for walkers.  I put on a pair of hard soles shoes that i bought that are still too big for her and she was clomping her feet and looked confused.  She didnt seem to like the feeling.

  • Do you have a Stride rite close to you? They are very helpful at finding the right shoes or your LO "level". They did say that you should be able to bend the show with only using your thumb & 2 fingers, if the shoe dose not bend (or is really hard to) then sole is to hard.

  • We used to but our mall got flooded.  I will have to google and see if another is in the area.

  • She'll get used to them. DD was only in Robeez too and when we moved into regular shoes it took her a little bit.

They sort it by first time walkers and I love this company, they have a coupon code for this weekend HAPPY1 for 25% off and always free shipping above $25.  I bought my DD Riley Roos Taylor sneakers, great flexible sole but good enough to stomp all over the playground with, my daughter is in a size 5 and wears 18-24m in their sizing, I also love Pedipeds when she was first walking and now that it is summer they are great and lightweight, she still wears them just not to the playground since they weren't made for that they are more of a casual shoe not play shoe.  GL!

My DDs started with Robeez and stayed in those when they first started walking.  I did get them a pair of Robeez Minishoez (more traction on sole) that they wore a little bit, but once they were really walking and outside more, I moved them up to the Robeez Tredz.
